I'm having the exact same experience as reported by a different user here:

The graphical artifact is identical as the screenshot on that post.
I'm attaching a copy of the screenshot here.
Downgrading to 1.15.3 solves it.
Not sure if it's related to http://bugs.cemu.info/issues/46.
